'Tis the season...

July/August is always particularly hard for myself, for many reasons, but mostly because I lost my beautiful man at this time of year, and it is always a hard time to get through. Also because 'Tis the season for sickness and when Kayne gets sick he usually has a regression, and they can be really hard to get through. And this year is no different. Kayne and I have been unwell, and the sadness of this time of year has again been unyielding. For the last couple of days I have been really down, and I have had some AWESOME support from my friends (you know who you are!) I love you gals at PH, like nothing else!

But in true Shaw style, it is time to pull myself up by my bootstraps and carry on. I only allow myself to wallow for so long, and that time has expired for this year (until this time next year!). It is time for me to look forward, and be thankful for what I do have, a great family, the best friends in the world, and most importantly the most special little man on the face of this planet! I would put my life on the line for anyone of them, many times over!

Looking forward to going to the Ekka with Kayne (and the new man!) and hope that it's a really good day, albeit an expensive one. This post has been unusually soppy, and for that I am eternally sorry, but it does happen so very occasionally that I actually let people in to see my vulnerable side.. Do you all feel adequately special? LOL!

Again a big, big - HUGE kiss and cuddle to my wonderful friends on PH who are there for me in my worst hours, and help me pull myself through it. I love you guys.
